Fun Stuff!

(Yes, this photo is in the batch from before, but I like it!)

So, after some delays and setbacks, things are beginning to get back on track. The last of my supplies was delivered from Amazon.com, today. That was kind of frustrating, as the sender received a notice on Friday, that they had been dropped at a facility in Henderson. After some conversations with different customer service reps, the final word was that they would be delivered sometime before 8:00 PM, on Tuesday. Unusual? Yes. Henderson is about seven miles from my house. In any case, everything is here now, and the sleeping pad is sucking air, literally, on the floor of my studio. Evidently, memory foam can be super compacted for shipping. Then it takes up to forty-eight hours for it to completely expand. So, we’re waiting.

In the meanwhile, I had the wheel of the Stew Wagon looked at. It is, indeed, bent. Kudos to the guys at Firestone on Melody Drive, in Northglenn. They really went out of their way to take care of me. I’ll share photos of the new/used wheels after they’re installed tomorrow.

At this point, it looks like I’ll be able to start the Oklahoma trip about the 14th of April. It’s another three weeks, but the wait will be worth it. I’ll be able to organize the Stew Wagon and try out all the new supplies, before I’m actually on the road.

Tomorrow, I’ll be pulling out all of the supplies.. That will be recorded and the video posted on YouTube. Dont forget to click over and see it – here. Please, subscribe and stay informed.
